Today’s real-life daily monkey update is very upsetting and hard to accept. Poor little girl Candy was seriously attacked by a bigger male monkey, Bonita. It was a shocking moment, and seeing Candy hurt like that truly breaks our hearts. She looked frightened and in pain, and we quickly stepped in to separate them and make sure she was safe.
Right away, we focused on checking her condition and giving her the care she needed. We are cleaning her wounds gently and keeping her in a quiet, safe place so she can rest and recover. Moments like this remind us how important it is to closely monitor animal behavior and protect the smaller, more vulnerable ones from harm.
We will continue to watch Candy carefully and do everything we can to help her heal both physically and emotionally. She deserves comfort, patience, and kindness during this difficult time.
